WORKSHOP
SPECIFICS
Dates: The dates
for the workshop are April 1st to 4th. The
workshop will begin on 1st morning and conclude
by noon on 4th. Venue: The workshop will be held
in the picturesque surroundings of Himachal
Pradesh - amidst the enchanting forests of
Cedar, oak and rhododendron - at Glenmoor
Cottages. The cottages are situated at about
6300 ft above sea level in upper Dharamshala.
The choice of the venue is inspired by its being
a learning centre since ancient times. Scholars
and philosophers from all over the world come
here in their scholartic pursuits. Its close
proximity to the Dalai Lama Centre and the
Chinmaya Ashram at Siddbari, both of which are
centres for deep reflection and learning, make
it an ideal place for intense dialogue as well
as personal reflection. The retreat will also
provide an opportunity to visit the Ashram and
the Centre. The accommodation will be on shared
basis (2 to 3 people in a cottage). The cottages
can accommodate only upto 18 people.
Participation fee: The participation fee will be
Rs. 50,000 per participant. This would include
the facilitation fee and stay at Glenmoor
cottages. In addition, the fee also covers
travel from Delhi to Dharamshala and back
through a chartered flight. The flight will
leave Delhi around 1100 hours on April 1st and
return on April 4th around 1600 hours.
